New Board of Directors appointed

KIOS Board of Directors for the year 2023 has been appointed. Ms. Auli Starcks continues as Chair of the Board and Mr. Juho Aalto was selected as Vice-Chair.

The new Board of Directors was selected on Monday February 13. A new member was added to the board: Academy Research Fellow in Global Development Studies and University Lecturer Ms. Eija Ranta

Ms. Auli Starck will continue as the Chair of the Board. She is the executive director of Operation A Day’s Work Finland (Taksvärkki ry). Doctoral researcher Mr. Juho Aalto was selected as Vice-Chair.

KIOS was founded by 11 Finnish NGOs working on human rights, peace and development issues. The members of the board of KIOS do not necessarily represent the founding organisations, but external experts can also be in the Board.
