How we work

We identify and select trustworthy human rights organizations and movements in South Asia and East Africa.

We provide direct financial support to human rights organizations and groups at the local, national and regional level.

We strengthen our partners by supporting them in areas such as training, networking, and improvements to safety and security.

We share information about the work and achievements of our partners and the human rights situation in the countries they operate in. We also participate in campaigns and organize human rights-related trainings and seminars both in Helsinki and online.

We influence and advocate through discussing human rights matters with decision-makers, authorities and other key actors both in Finland and abroad.
