The KIOS Foundation offers funding to civil society organisations from East Africa and South Asia. Every year, we fund approximately 30 civil society organisations fighting for dignity, equality and justice in their own countries.

Open calls

The open call to support human rights work in Sri Lanka has been closed.

At the end of May KIOS launched an open call for human rights work in Sri Lanka carried out by local civil society organisations. A total of 88 applications were received. The KIOS evaluation team has selected the shortlisted organisations for the in-person due diligence visits and they have all been contacted directly.
